This Provence-style rosé is a blend of Merlot, Gamay Noir, Syrah, Petite Verdot and Viognier with grapes harvested from vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys.
The wine begins with lovely notes of melon, red currant, pomegranate, red berry, and a touch of earth. A dry, smooth yet refreshing wine with fruity flavours of red berry, Rainier cherry, and melon. It finishes with notes of Rainier cherry, melon, pomegranate, and red berry tea.

WINEMAKING
The grapes for this rosé were harvested from Sandhill Estate, Rocky Ridge, and Eastbench vineyards within the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. The grapes were gently pressed with minimal skin contact immediately upon arrival at the winery to preserve the fresh fruit character and to achieve the delicate colour and structure in this wine. After pressing, the juice was clarified by cold settling in stainless steel tanks and racking off solids prior to fermentation. Each batch was cool fermented separately with a special strain of yeast typically used for white wine to enhance the aromatics. The Viognier was co-fermented with some Syrah. The wines were aged in stainless steel to enhance the vibrant fruit characteristics. The final blend is 43.7% Merlot, 29% Gamay Noir, 14% Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot, 3.3% Viognier.
FLAVOUR PROFILE
A coral pink colour with lovely aromas watermelon, peach, and raspberry fruit. A dry, smooth yet refreshing wine with fruity flavours of red berry, peach, and melon, which also linger on the finish.
